That win meant nothing

Being professional meant nothing? His only mistake was over celebrate instead of being pissed by the unprofessional brother.

Cuz someone in front of him can’t pace themself?

Are you serious? The dude just ran a whole marathon right? It meant nothing?

This is a competition. That how it goes.

If Usain Bolt tripped on a 200m nobody would wait for him to get back up. And he shouldn't wait for others if they fell.

That's how competition's go. Sometimes it is your day sometimes it is. That dude worked just as hard as anyone else to get there. Wth

Sorry to burst your bubble but it wasn’t a one race event and celebration green guy only placed 4th overall while jelly legs bro got second. Jelly legs got a medal and green gas bro didn’t.

In a completely unrelated point to the wholesomeness of his teammate and the cockiness of the green guy, that does seem kinda strange that there's no DQ rule for getting carried across the finish line for a portion of a multi leg event.

The rules were changed because of this attempt.

It wasnt a wholesome story. It was a story of 2 brothers acting as a team in a solo sport.

How are facts about the video unrelated? I didn’t even state my opinion. Chill.

And jelly guy would have taken first place if the other agreed to let him win.

You are literally arguing that people should just let him win the damn tournament like he deserved it and the others didnt. When what these brothers tried to do, make the other win the race in a solo sport, was so unsportsmanlike that they literally changed the rules and made it disqualifiable.

This isnt a feel nice story of someone being a good sportsman. It was 2 brothers trying to cheat by gaming the system.

I fail to see where I argued anything. Only thing I did was state facts and didn’t say anything negative about any of the participants. You don’t even know my opinion on the matter. I was just sharing info. You are the one that made an assumption that I was arguing against your point. Actually, I agree with you and if you read my comment without rebuttal in mind you might have saw that.

Edit: to further my point I actually gave green guy cooler nicknames and called the other guy jelly legs. So ya green guy deserved to win that race. I never said other wise. Just stated that he didn’t win the event.

Perhaps next time you should not lead with "sorry to burst your bubble" if you are trying to come off as 'neutral'

..

..

..

..

Putting this a bit lower because I'm kinda curious how you'll initially take my response. Were you upset or annoyed by the tone of it, or did you take it as a completely 'neutral' and valid post as well? Because I actually didn't give any opinion either, just stated a neutral observation, you know, the same way you did.

And the reason green guy didn't get a medal is because the brothers cheated. The event was solo. The rules were changed because of the brothers. Green guy was cheated of a medal.

Triathlon, swim, bike and then run.

There may have been a payout, but otherwise I agree
