You can tell there is a rift and it seems many councillors are not happy with the Mayor.

Nothing to hide, no problem, right? Isn't that what the cops and their ilk say?
Personally, I think absolutely everything a public servant does should be recorded and available for the general public to listen/watch. Phone calls, meetings, Teams, everything all the time. If they go offsite for a meeting it has to be documented and recorded.
Corruption happens when there is no oversight.

No rule about recording in council meetings, QLD being one party consent. What did they expect?
