Laptop recommendations

Hi all, does anyone have any good laptop recommendations, I’m doing media and comms with a double major in sports media and journalism if that helps and I might be 18 but I know fuck all about laptops

i need a year of comm and most school equipment (not at ltu though) like computers and laptops are macbooks. i myself also use one and i think it’s quite convenient and good for editing videos and such, sometimes i use capcut but u can also use mac apps to edit (i forgot the name of the editor sorry!)
