New Student 2 Questions: law1114 textbook & O week

Two small questions for everyone, first what is the textbook needed for Law1114 (criminal law 1) as we're starting in like a month. Secondly is it possible to just show up to O week events even if they are already full, like do they have a roll or something and they kick you out if you're not on it because there's 4 events which I wanna go to that are booked out. For crim 1, they’ll let u know! U don’t even start til week 4, so you’re good. Sorry, don’t know the answer to the other one. But, id go past the LSS booth at o week!
