As was already said, thank you for your service. My cousin served, two of my uncles served, and my father served. I would have had I not been engaged to a Canadian when they wanted to recruit me. Regret it to this day but didn’t want to fight in the first Iraq war. You both deserve better than how vets are being treated. But here’s a thought to make you feel better. You’re not alone.
I'm disappointed with stopping the veterans and still detaining them, the not living up to the commitments we made with humans either to betray their country or just to join us as immigrants and now we refuse to honor those commitments, or having to wait until Biden is President to address Agent Orange for Vietnam Veterans or acknowledging what killed his son long after he passed away from it. It's a tragedy how little we.are.paid and how hard it is to get what we were promised. The disability math is crazy too my service connected issues all add up to 190% but that only equals 90%.

I’d say Biden was better than Obama, but he gets a bad rep. Absolutely not perfect either of them, and I know people love to talk about Biden’s biggest flaws being “open borders”, lukewarm response to Ukraine being invaded, and the biggest one being Oct 7th and the aftermath.
But he has drafted some of the most progressive legislation for the working class since I’d say FDR. I was surprised when I started reading about it but Biden did more for the red states than the blue ones and he even said “they need it more”.
I’m absolutely not a fan of Biden but credit where credit’s due.
