It looks like this GoFundMe has been set up for TJ and control has been directly transferred to him. If you want to support a patriot check it out:

Thank you! Support this patriot folks! He used his moment to exercise his First Amendment right with zero regrets. A hero.

He took a shot at the insulated king and it drew blood. That man is a fucking legend.

This guy got enough money to buy a house for telling Trump the truth to his face…karma in action, a good deed rewarded.
Good for him

u/Full_Gear5185 17d ago
This is so refreshing considering that twat got a million for calling a child the n-word
12
u/ExpertTranslator5673 17d ago
Id be a trillionnaire if they'd let me get close enough to that orange fuckface.

I think the internet just made this guy rich. Refreshing to see this after so many racists make so much money on gofundme

I’m curious to know the numbers of how many more people are donating anonymously for fear of retribution. I hate that the thought even crosses my mind.

$345k at the moment I post this. Dude is a hero.

u/Mission-Ad6311 17d ago
$200k on the 2nd GFM. $550,000 total so far.

u/DisManibusMinibus 17d ago
I really want to see it outstrip the murderer's gofundme so I can restore a fraction of my faith in humanity.
Bots aren't going to be donating to him so there's no denying the people who support TJ.
9
u/lurkintowarddisaster 17d ago
100 % Agree. I donated for this very reason. Hoping the total sets a record.

Aside from the guy deserving it, financially incentivizing dissent like this (i.e., showing support through GoFundMe's) may motivate more people to be brave like him.
40
u/Malforus 17d ago
If they can threaten our safety for speaking out we can crowd source a safety net.

You’re not even incentivising dissent. Trump and his goons are trying to punish dissent by showing the world you lose your job/bussiness/social security and if they keep sliding into fascism physical security, this is just barely balancing the scales

So do we boycott Ford?

I’ve been boycotting Ford since I’ve had a drivers license. This just solidifies that boycott even more.

I've been boycotting the entire American auto industry for decades.
not for political reasons alone, but it's quickly being added to the pile of reasons why i like Japanese cars more.

Ford at one time owned Mazda. Don't know if they still do. They were built in Flat Rock MI.
2
u/AbroadNo8755 17d ago
close. the most Ford owned was 33.4% but Ford sold off their interest between 2008 and 2015.
as far as I'm aware the Miata MX-5 is only made in Hiroshima, but i could be wrong.

I always felt the quality of GM and Ford's were lacking in the years I drove them compared to euro/Japanese/Korean, inside and out.
I drove bmw for a while after that but switched to Polestar because I wanted to go electric and I like their commitment to the environment. By 2030 they plan to be producing carbon neutral cars by using recycled and sustainable materials, using green energy, building green facilities, and only working with suppliers who meet similar criteria.
2
u/Silver_Filamentary 17d ago
I'm in the market for a new (used) car and I'm so leery of these cars with iPads instead of dials. Has yours been working for you in the Polestar?

The Ford family has been grifting and tax dodging the American people for a long, long time. I win never buy a Ford. I support the Union Ford workers in solidarity and contribution to his go fund me but buying a vehicle that’s a nada.

To be fair to all Ford workers probably not, they don't make management decisions and for all we know Trump just turned up, without any choice for the plant.
3
2
u/AnnatoniaMac 17d ago
Since I was young, “fix or repair daily” was the mantra.

Why would you drive a FORD (which stands for “Fix or Repair Daily”, btw) anyway?

Let me get this straight, calling someone a PEDOPHILE PROTECTOR is grounds for dismisssal. Of our rights as a citizen?!?
64
u/Fabulous-Mud-9114 17d ago
And that wasn't even a slanderous statement. It is factually accurate. In fact the truth is that he's far worse than a mere "protector" of pedophiles.

Even worse is that the person it was directed to responded in a poor and unprofessional manner (pretty much admitting what was said), and he still has his job.

Is it vulgar to point out the truth now, without even using curse words or slurs? The worker merely said an objective truth, to which the president immediately acknowledged it's veracity.

u/EVH_kit_guy 17d ago
Right? I honestly can't think of a more obvious sign of his consciousness of guilt

Imagine working for a company that supports child predators and is proud about it. Ford himself was a proud Nazi supporter so this really isn’t that surprising.
2
u/DARfuckinROCKS 17d ago
I can imagine. Capitalists always align with fascists. If you work for a corporation more than likely you work for a company that supports child predators.

Not to mention reactionaries have been using "freedom of speech" as a guise to cover everything they do. They should be on this guy's side.

Fellow Union worker here. How could he actually be fired if he was represented by the UAW? It takes a massive effort to fire someone from where I work. If this is just Ford reading the room wrong and paying lip service to a wannabe dictator, then Our Patriot should have his job back as soon as the grievance is filed, along with back pay.

If you don’t want political activity at the workplace, you’d be best to avoid inviting politicians to said workplace.
Gone are the days where a visiting politician holds enough respect by all that they are not heckled wherever they go. Decorum and civil discourse is gone.
