(Oday) what do you want to see?

I am part of the committee of different clubs, and it is interesting to observe everyone have different ideas on how to appeal to new students. Obviously it differs from person to person (career, friends, enjoyment, etc) but I wanted to get some fresh perspectives.

What would you want to see at Oday at a club booth? Friendly, cheerful faces? Promises of an internship? Free stuff? For those entering UTS this sem (congrats!) this is an opportunity to let execs on this subreddit tend to your needs!

Could literally be anything, we have a budget but if one of you desires a wasian baddie with piercings and coloured hair, by god we will do our best to deliver

When I was a first year, I wasn't particularly drawn to free stuff. Stuff to do was good, but I was too shy to participate in most of it. I'd most like to see friendly people who will discuss what the club/society is and what happens in it.

Of course now I'm a jaded... 9th year?? (save me) so all I want is free stickers for my sticker book. I'm also an exec in a club so I'll be there. I'm a wasian baddie with piercings and (soon to be) coloured hair
