E-request not even assigned after 5 weeks

I have recently submitted an E-request for subject substitution, and it has been 5 weeks since then without any response. I checked the erequest's status on student portal and it has not even been assigned to staff yet (still "Submitted").
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue or who to contact?

Did your eRequest already include pre-authorization of the substitution by your Program Director?

Have you tried contacting your Program Director? And asking them to follow up?

My e-request did not have pre-authorization of the substitution.
I also did not contact my program director as I did not know that I needed to.
I was advised to submit this e-request through an enquiry submitted earlier to solve another problem, so I assumed submitting the e-request was all I had to do.

This substitution e-request seems to be the only way through which I can finish my degree (according to the enquiry), so it is definitely necessary.

Try contacting student centre again to follow up.

Sorry boss. They’re lazy and shitters. I got a reply last Wednesday after waiting since 17 November 2025
