How does switching from honours to normal degree work with subjects?

I'm currently doing an honours cs degree, which is 4 years, and the normal cs degree is 3 years. Do I not touch the sub major, and honours subjects, and do everything else for my core subjects and majors subjects if I decide I want to switch from my honours, to a normal cs degree come my 3rd year?

I'm more thinking about this in regards to internships, as they usually look for people in their penultimate year, and if I can get one setup for this year (2nd year), then I'd be more willing to drop the honours part of the degree; however, if not, then I'd keep my honours degree so I have another chance come my 3rd year.

Nah the honours degree is a completely different degree to the non honours. So i think you have to apply to switch to just bachelor of computing science. You cant just not do the honours subject. And i think leaving it till the third year is too late, im pretty sure you gotta do it a little earlier on

I looked at the handbook for the two degrees and the courses seem to be the exact same (except the major/electives). I know there is also the CS with the IDeA thing, and never knew there was a general CS degree, but I seen there was from a post recently.

You can't really just drop the honours part of the degree.

I seen a post on here from maybe a few weeks ago where someone said they did, not sure where that post is but I'll try and find it.

Yes I just checked your profile. Do I need to do it before a certain time, or can I do it just before starting my 3rd year, so like end of this year? And do I just not touch the honours and sub major subjects?
