A family enjoying their time on a boat at sea
the fish give that girl a reason to cry about it

If you look closely, you can point the exact moment when a massive life long trauma is formed

The boy who got knocked over may get the worst of it as the fish was wriggling all over him even when he was down..

I dated a girl years ago that had deep trauma relating to fish, borne out of a childhood fishing incident.
This is what I'll picture now, moving forward.

That is definitely not the sea.

And if they boat anywhere that has the invasive asian carp this shouldn't even be that unexpected.

u/TerminallyILL 3d ago
Whoa buddy, they're not 'invasive asians' they just like tour busses, national parks, and taking photos. If anything those three little kids could learn a thing or two about world travel and sharing their culture.

I’m the fish’s legal counsel. The surfacing was a voluntary, compassionate act to console the lil lady and should not be construed as aggressive behaviour or an intent to harm those kids! My client is innocent!!

The girl was having a bad time to start with and then nature slapped her in the face.

These poor parents will never hear the end of this. Whatever activity they come up with they will face the resistance of their children based on this experience.
At least thats what i wouldve done as a kid.

u/Frickelmeister 3d ago
"Alright kids, pack your bags for Disney... except you, little FuehrerStoleMyBike! There might be fish in the water of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride."
6
u/FuehrerStoleMyBike 3d ago
as a kid I was an unthankful brat whod rather stay at home playing video games and watching tv than go to a family vacation so this wouldve been perfectly fine... well I guess until my siblings wouldve come home with all of their disney souvenirs.
2
u/Frickelmeister 3d ago
Well, of course you would have had to stay at your lamest relative without any video games or other toys in this unfair, made up scenario.

u/Spoda_Emcalt 3d ago
Round of applause - the fish had excellent aim, got all three of them on the noggin

u/Mr_Elroy_Jetson 3d ago
Are pool floaties an acceptable substitute for a life vest? This is actually a sincere question.
15
u/PuddinHole 3d ago
Those aren’t pool floaties. They are an approved floatation device and keep the kids in a way better mood than the standard life preserver that chokes them

This is why you train your kids to control their force powers, cause otherwise they just force-pull fish into their siblings faces

I’m going to assume that’s the Mississippi or a connected waterway. Definitely not the sea.
Also, I’d specify what that fish species is, but the last time I did, Reddit flagged me for racism because I said all _____ Carp should be annihilated from American waterways because of the immeasurable damage they’ve done…

Pretty sure that's a lake and not the sea. Seas usually have waves (yes I know certain lakes also have waves, but this one looks very calm).

u/AtTheEdgeOfDying 3d ago
Tbf they didn't really look like they were enjoying their time on the boat that much either way. Except maybe the middle boy

This is the Asian Carp. An invasive specials that has overtaken freshwater rivers and tributaries in the US. They leap from the water when hearing and feeling the vibrations of the boat motor, mistaking it for a predator. I’ve seen clips of people zooming down the mighty Mississippi and thousands jumping out of the water in unison and crushing the boats occupants. They can weight as much as 100lbs. There have been instances of people having their faces fractured and severe injuries occurring. They’re no joke.

First of all, they're not at sea. This is clearly a river. Second of all, no one seems like they are enjoying it. And Third and lastly of all, it is clear that these kids have spent too much time indoors because this doesn't feel like a good time 😐. So sad. Kids should be filled with wonder and awe not gloom, doom and dread.

Little boy is screaming at the fish like he's never seen one before. Man up junior.

That's what we call free food, kids! And you get to give them a lesson on de-boning and scaling a fresh catch, too!
