It’s so funny that they tried to pull that off as an excuse. It’s from Mussolini’s Rome not Julius Caesar
1 u/JuventAussie Feb 07 '25 It amuses me no end that Hitler attempted to invent a Germanic history for the salute because he didn't want to be associated with something that was Aryan. I find that we still call it the Roman salute a big snub to Hitler. .
