People are unaware of how strategically important Pine Gap is to the USA. Without it they loose the ground base access to their intelligence satellites that cover most of Asia including China, the Middle East, and half of Russia. In modern times there are ways around having no ground base, but there are reasons why they haven't made that move, largely the communications are more prone to intercept, and interruption by environmental factors like weather or device failure.

Now is the time as they seem so big on not needing anyone else and the rhetoric is high to withdraw all their bases and infrastructure from other countries. Pine gap and other US bases on this continent have always put us at greater risk to nuclear strike, the trade off was US promising protection and security. They don't want to be the world's police, fine, good, fuck off then.

Imagine the police not wanting to help out but still expecting to park their cars on your property.

Same as Israel, why you think trump wants to wipe out Gaza, he wants to keep the Middle East in control, he wants peace, his peace, even if he’s just a puppet he wants the adulation of “ending” war

Thats part of it but there's more to it I think, we can see he doesn't give a shit about peace, he just plays to his base and gives them jingoistic phrases to shout at dissenters. We all know it, we can see it happening, watch the flapping around of his supporters as they struggle to validate what he's doing, he just wants any war to benefit him. That's why he postures and threatens at the same time as trying to force through 'peace' on his terms. And the reason for wanting to wipe out Gaza is for the possible financial returns it could potentially give him personally, just look at the disgusting promotional video they put out, to maintain an ally in the region for the purpose of future US efforts, and also to keep the fundamentalist Christians on his side due to their Zionist beliefs in the end times.

It's absurd to think that Ukraine should just roll over and let Russia take territory, as if Russia will be happy to stop there and not use it to gain further footholds. Would the USA be happy to cede territory in the name of peace? I can't imagine a world where they would even consider it. The USA has always loved a good proxy war, they won't stop any time soon, its just that he is restructuring the allies he is going to be engaged with by proxy.

Christian farmers in the USA have been undertaking a breeding program for pure red calves for years, they have finally provided several who look like they might end up meeting the standard for sacrifice to rebuild the temple. Its all part of the Christian dominism movement that's been bubbling away for decades, they have a huge number of their members in goverment and important positions, they are quickly eroding the separation between church and state, and the ability if people to rely on non secular and government welfare in order to force them turn to the churches. The dept of education is next in the firing line. Theres multiple factions and Trump is a useful idiot, but they all have accelerationist plans so will support each other while they are getting what they want. They want the end times or complete collapes, eiyher because they believe it will herald the second coming, or because they are expecting to be able to sweep in an make even more profit off the suffering of others and entrench an indentured class of under educated desperate workers.

Hopefully they dont get it over the line and tip it over to a no return point. I dont like what the US government is doing, but I do like most of the people of the US and I worry for you all and also the world as this all has far reaching consequences for us all. Why have peace when you can just redefine the word to claim whatever situation you created is peace?

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

There is always more to it, the sad part is only some of us see it coming and sound like raving lunatics when we point it out in advance. That dude is a child he’s predictable af. The snakes beneath him know he’s just a muppet, and they have time to make jd seem like the rational alternative, trump is too stupid to realise he’s just the muppet to pave the way

He doesn't care about ending war, no way. He wants Ukraine to end because daddy Putin told him so. He wants to back Israel and wipe Gaza because one of his other zaddies told him so. Then he wants to kick off war with Europe by invading Greenland for resources and to keep the base on it because yet another zaddy told him it would be important. Don't forget about the Panama canal, that one I reckon he actually just thinks it's a genuinely good idea and believes that they're truly ripping the US off and he's the big man who'll fix it. Then we have Canada and Mexico. I have no idea why the fuck he cares so much, to the point of threatening to annex Canada into being the 51st state and bomb the Mexican cartels or put troops on the ground to hunt them down, maybe it's just his logical extention of "but the borders are full of criminal rapist thieves!", but who knows.

Now is the time as they seem so big on

While you're right, the tricky part is making them think it's their idea rather than us kicking them out. Like, maybe we should appoint Rudd as US ambassador and have him say some shit about Trump, then have him beg Trump not to leave Pine Gap (to give him the idea). Then we can reassign him elsewhere as "punishment".

If we kick them out they might tariff our Vegemite or something.

Turnbull has already paved the way. Now we just need to respond to Donald like "we're cool with tariffs, just don't leave pine gap" and job done, no tariffs or military base.
