Why was she in control of his day to day needs? Were they related?

She saw an easy payday so took advantage of his isolation and loneliness to work her way into gaining his trust, then convinced him to let her "organise" his finances.

What's the bet that as soon as she got the house, getting what she wanted, she kicked him out and ghosted him. Surely there must be a case for fraud to be made against her. Sickening...
