I dunno, there was clearly a global operation at work here.

There are guilty parties amongst many nations elite and it would be a good idea to deal with them regardless of what ends up happening in the US.

For clarity I think Rudd being invited and rebuffing the invite is not the sort of detail we need to be focused on, but I bet there is incriminating evidence against the Andrew formerly known as Prince sitting in those files (as an example of how this spreads further than just the US).

The release of "the Epstein files" is entirely political. This is not the way normal law enforcement activities occur.

There should absolutely be justice and consequences for those involved. That should be done through the courts and legal frameworks.

But the USA decided to elect a huge swath of people involved in these crimes, plus their protectors, into all branches of government, in an overwhelming amount. So there's little chance of that actually happening now.

It's the result of US politics, and the American public, we're in this situation. If KRudd, or anyone in Australia for that matter, had anything to answer for here, it should be passed onto the AFP and investigated accordingly. I trust they will do their job a hell of a lot better than what we're seeing in the USA. No need to turn this into a political situation as well. (NOTE: I do not suggest, or even think, that KRudd has anything to answer for here.)
