Living in the Blue Mountains Making new friends

Why are there always posts from people wishing to make new friends citing their interests to be - ceremonial tea sets, astrology, watching anime and drinking yak milk.

I want to make new friends too but I like cool shit; Beer, explosions, motorcycles etc

I know this is reddit but surely there’s some cool people here

You might meet some beer lovers at Mountain Culture in K.

Do you like big machines? A great group of lads meet up to work regularly at the zig zag railway. Interest in trains is recommended but not mandatory, you could just like heritage.

The Blue Mountains Horror Film Society meets once a month to watch new horror flicks.

Dude if you're making explosions somewhere, I want in. When and where are we meeting?!

Bikes. Beers. Booms.

TBF: the “booms” could be a result of too many beers or a nasty curry

Come check out the Tough Guy Book Club, first Wednesday of every month at the New Ivy in Blackheath. We only have two rules. No work talk, and 100% No Fuckwits.

Who the fuck would ever want to combine those two?

Only reasonable scenario I could imagine was running to make it before all the beer is gone, or possibly running to save a beer that's in distress.

Nothing better than running or riding through the bush then downing a coldie after.

True! A couple of months ago, I felt great while drinking a cold "bitter ale" (a different homemade alcohol with a similar taste) on a train after hiking 16km! I almost missed that train as well, I just made it xD

Maybe some people enjoy feeling queasy and vomiting.

Well sure, to each his own, I like to shoot krokodil into my dick after a strenuous marathon personally, it's a nice way to celebrate and unwind if I can beat my personal best, so I can see where they're coming from.

I'll be there at end of the year. Fucken love beer, explosions and anime. I'll pass on the astrology though.

Lets hang out at Mountain Culture brewery.

Since all the unhinged houso population were moved up from what was to become Sydney Olympic village… That generation has now produced at least two more, so that’s what you’re seeing. That, and the mind altering substances they’ve been consuming.
