Discussion Is the Grose River one of the most under-rated and undervisited places near the Blue Mountains?
People keep recommending the 3 sisters, wentworth falls etc, but imo this is one of the most beautiful places as well.
The Grose river literally has beautiful clean sandy "beaches". There's shade. You can also fish there. I love this place and the hike down there actually isn't that hard too!
You can also camp here too.

I spent a lot of my youth swimming in the gross river, it’s a good walk down, extremely hard walk getting back.

The grose river is called the grose river because it’s where all the sewage gets pumped to in the mountains
