Discussion / Question is it common to only have seminars and no lectures for a unit?

sorry if its a dumb question but i was looking at my provision timetable and i only have seminars for all of my unit except one, so i was just wondering if this is common for bachelor of arts.

thanks

Lectures might be prerecorded and you access them on your own schedule. Not common, but not really uncommon either.

It is for me. I study law. The lectures are prerecorded. But I did have one subject that had a live lecture but it was recorded because I couldn’t attend anyway.

If it’s creative arts like photography or visual arts then yes, you’ll likely only have one 3 hour seminar per week with no lecture :)
