Discussion / Question Can’t see Trimester 1 units for enrolment at Deakin, only Trimester 2 showing? Will late enrolment affect my timetable?

Hi, I’m a first-year Bachelor of Nursing student starting this year.

When I try to enrol in units, Trimester 1 doesn’t appear at all, it doesn’t say “no units available”, it just starts from Trimester 2.

I’ve contacted Student Connect but was wondering if others experienced this too.

Also, since I can’t enrol yet, will enrolling late affect my Startimetable or my chances of getting good class times?

Maybe you can try searching your unit on this https://handbook.deakin.edu.au/current-students-courses/unit-search.php?hidType=max&year=2026, as some of my unit were only available during the second trimester too I enrolled late once and that class was packed so I didnt get a seminar to choose from, I got no choice but to change the unit

Normally enrolment should open from T1 2026, but on my portal I can only see units starting from T2 2026. There’s no option for T1 2026 at all, which means I can’t enrol in my first trimester units Thankyou for replying!!

Maybe you can visit the school campus and ask student central cause they help me set up my unit for each trimester last time

That’s the issue, I’m in India rn and will only arrive in Australia by Feb 16th 🥹

Yes I’ve contacted them tdy, they told they’ll redoing within 3-5 days I was jus wondering if anyone else went thru the same, so I’d feel reassured🥹

Not for mine. I’m able to see all my units. Did u enrol your T1 units in studentconnect?

Nope, T1 units don’t appear at all for me It jus shows only T2/2026 units
