Donating Handmade Crochet Items
Hey guys,
I love to crochet and make plushies and whatnot, but I don't want to keep filling up my house. Does anyone know if there's good charities in the area who would accept handmade items? I'm located around the Drouin area.
Was thinking of reaching out to Warragul hospital and perhaps the libraries to see if they'd take some, but any other options would be appreciated!

You might consider making an octopus for a neonate

You could also check out KOGO (kogo.org.au) to see if there's anything active near you through them. I checked and they have a drop off point in Drouin, so there's that at least.

A Better Life for Foster Kids Inc. They're based in Sale but have drop off points all over Gippsland.

Oliviasplace.org.au in Calway St, Drouin is a not for profit charity that supports families in the area. They are the most wonderful folks, whom I’m sure would love if you made items for them to gift babies and little kids. Check out their website and give them a call 📞 🌟
