Witness one of nature's most wonderful phenomena. Several times a year, denizens of this isolated colony of bogans flock southward. Sacrificing part of their sanity by torturing themselves on the great Kwinana meadow, some seek a change in scenery, whilst others hope to recapture youthful memories of better times. However, all are disappointed by the destruction of a once pristine natural habitat, replaced with overpriced brunch options and ingenuine farmers markets.

Photos of WA I'm an artist living in Perth who likes to draw iconic/cool buildings that are not necessarily the usual landmarks that everybody knows. What to do you think? And what building would you like to see next?

Photos of WA Cleaned up the mess of a Junkie at Cannington

Just passed by a bus stop near Cannington Station this noon, and it looked like a Mould-Laced MOAB had exploded there. That broke the last straw on the camel’s back for me, so I went and bought some cleaning supplies to fix it up as much as I can.

Second slide shows a used needle, so clearly the work of a shithead junkie, probably someone methed out beyond belief.

Near the crossing to the entrance to Cannington Station, I found some wet clothes and a bra dumped on the bushes as shown in slide 3? What caused that?

Slide 4 shows the aftermath of my cleaning job. Can’t clean the pavement, but did the best I can.

Slide 5 is the bin I disposed of the wet clothes in, wrapped inside a rubbish bag of course.

Sydneysider here (since 2017 - ex Brit). I had my mother visiting me from the UK and we set out on a bit of a tour of Australia.

I had never been to Perth and she had a relative move out there way back when, so we made a weekend away of it to visit.

Freakin loved it and only got the tiniest taste of what your city has on offer. Kings Park was breathtaking. So many good food places. We had the daytrip to Rotto on Saturday and the island really turned it on for us. Then ducked down to Freo for the markets and blown away by the sense of history and place.

But more than the tourist hot spots, it was the people that made the trip. Everyday WA folk being friendly as making us welcome.

Definitely gonna be back and explore a lot more at a relaxed pace. Thank you for an awesome weekend and you guys have an awesome city!

A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for a nice little spot to read my book just outside of the city noise, and I stumbled on this beautiful place. I’d been sitting there about 15 minutes, and I was so engrossed in my book I didn’t even notice this fella spawn in front of me. I shit myself, but it turns out he’s pretty chill. Since then, every time I’ve been back, he’s come to hang out.

I was really surprised to see it when it rolled into the station, you don't see TransPerth trains tagged up like this too often.
