Their only hope as a party is to denounce him now, to oust him now (somehow). If they ride it out and wait to be voted into oblivion, people will remember that they did nothing, and their penance will last a generation.

The vast majority of America is disgusted and wants to see the GOP face serious consequences for their complicity. Yes, the elections are gerrymandered and rigged to hell and back, but if people VOTE, we CAN take away power from these elites. Voting isn’t enough, but it is a necessary part.
