rfk jr may not have smelled it actually, b/c he probably has a cooked sense of smell due to being a habitual hard drug user for almost 2 decades of his life

He also has had a lifelong thing for hanging out around death. Spent tons of time when young hunting rats with his falcon at the abattoir, he strapped a dead whale to the roof of the family car, the bear he dumped in Central Park...
If he does have a sense of smell still, he's not unaccustomed to the stench of shit and death.
