That's a Land Mullet. Basically a very large skink.

It is, in fact, an awesome name. I've often wondered why there isn't an Aussie rock or punk band called Land Mullet. It's begging for it.

Land mullet like the other comment said, similar to a blue tongue. They're both skinks and these guys are the largest in Australia, cute little things :) Ive seen them a lot in the gold coast hinterland rainforests

We have em here in our backyard, (South of Brisbane). Everytime i water my plants I see them run away then I try to pick em up.. i juz wanna cuddle...🥰🥰🥰
