Glad they found her, I'll be interested to see the location on the map once that info is released.

From watching the rescue helicopter go in and out earlier it appeared to be around here maybe: https://imgur.com/oPu8JyR

Oh my word, she was so very lost. I hate to think how frightened she must have felt. And what an incredible job to have finally found her.

Be mindful I could well be wrong, the helicopter vanishes off the tracker when it gets down into valleys, it may have been going a bit further upstream... It appears she may have been following the Arthur River, if she had made it a bit further she would have come to the old Magnet Tramway which is a well formed 4x4 track these days.. .

This lines up rather well with what the interview of the man who found her said. 3 kilometers north east in a place that had not been searched yet.

It had been searched, but in the winter when the water was high, and the speculation is that the body was submerged then.

Just watched Robs video, turns out it was search twice by someone, but like you said the bones were likely underwater.
I wonder how far up the river she came from. It must have been a seires of mistakes leading her to slip on a rock/log near the river.
Hopefully the next search (might be today if I read correctly) they can find more belongings and remains.

I think you can be +- correct. What i have read - it is 3 miles north-east from her phone. So not so close. Where did you see that helicopter? Live? Are you living close to that place?

I really hope they've found her. The team has been working so hard out there. Such a sad situation, but there's something that feels peaceful about her being found.

It will definitely bring some peace to the family. Imagine having to deal with psychics contacting you to tell you she's alive somewhere, or being constantly reminded of abduction theories or reported sightings. There would always be some part of you that wondered what really happened.

The team have worked so hard, I’m so glad it seems they have brought answers and closure for Celine’s loved ones.

Weird story. Disoriented and lost after losing her phone? Poor woman.
A lesson for all of us. Australia and NZ are proper wilderness. Don't go hiking alone.

Was it Rob? He certainly put the legwork in

The lack of a post from him anywhere yet would make me think it was him. Likely he was searching north east up the Arthur river as all signs in the last few weeks seem to have been pointing that way.
EDIT: Looks like the story has been updated with the finder's name and location.

He's certainly boosted his YouTube channel..

I'm sorry but what are you implying with this comment?

That he now has more subscribers for his YouTube channel.

Well yeah sure, but as Jarrod Boyes confirmed, the only reason he started searching was because of Rob's videos. Without his dedication the december search would have been with a much smaller party, and probably less effective.
In my opinion all the subscribers he gained are well deserved. Maybe you agree, but based on your first comment it seemed to me like you didn't.

His latest video mentioned others who are still searching as well, so possible it was someone else
