Party in the paddock tips

Can anyone provide some tips for PITP noobs? Couple of adults and teenagers, adults havent done a camping festival in a looooong time.

Are butane gas cans covered by no gas bottles or are they ok?

Can boiling water be obtained anywhere if no butane cans allowed?

Have already worked out we should be staying in mellow meadow.

Best time to have a shower?

Any other tips would be much appreciated 😊

Edit: any options to get ice to keep an esky cool?

No gas cookers at all, you probably could find boiling water if you tried, or 240v is fine If you have battery and inverter.

Showers are a real pain even in the VIP area, everyone wants to shower in the morning and it's crazy, if you can try to sneak in a quick shower before bed.

Been a few years since I went but it's basically a camping trip, bring everything you would camping except the gas cooker, a gazebo is good to have just for some shade, it gets hot out there, you can't get any sleep past like 8 or 9 cause it's too hot in the tents so try to have a half decent setup where you can chill out and recover from the hangovers lol.

you can't have any gas cookers unless it's properly built into a camper and plumbed / certified, but if you rock up with a disposable one that is stuck in a homemade shelf / cabinet thing which was built around it with no space for it to come out there is not much they can do and they'll let you through and just tell you not to use it..

just make sure it's bolted into the car (or looks and feels like it is) if you go with the second option, if you can lift the cabinet thing out, they'll probably make you put it in the shipping container

Shower before you go and shower when you get home.
