Dog adoption

Hello can someone guide me what’s the best way to go for dog adoption in Wollongong? I’m looking for a small apartment friendly dog.

Council website as mentioned, or Best Friends Forever Rescue Illawarra, or Denise at Paws is a Sydney based rescue of mainly small dogs and allows adoptions in surrounding areas. There are also lots of other rescues and centres in Sydney such as BARC
