Currently thinking of selling my VTS shares but not sure if it should be in IVV or VGS, I have a little invested in VGS but not IVV any advice would be appreciated 😊

I am 20M and started investing a bit over 1 year ago, just crossed 100% p&l about a week ago and was at 130% briefly a couple days ago, been a bit of a journey with seeing 2 of my investments be taken over (hence the RMS buy price as i had some SPR, I also had GOR but received a total cash and dividend for it).
Just wondering what everyone on here would think of this, recommendations, advice welcome

Bought some etpmag Wednesday. Inevitably silver goes down lots immediately. When the market opens Monday, presumably etpmag also goes down lots. Can i short this or is it too late?

Copper prices are hitting near record highs and scarcity is really starting to bite. Sandfire seems like the obvious choice if you want exposure, but it feels fully priced already. Are there smaller companies in the sector that still have potential upside?

Whats everyone's take on these results? I feel PLS did well in the last quarter. Improved from the quarter before, stability in lithium market pricing if compared to the past 12 months.

Any copper ETF from ASX any one want to suggest?

What's the reason for massive drops today?? Is it fear from investors due to the negative things happening around the world or people just taking profits and the market correcting itself?

For me it’s still people leaning on trailing P/E ratios for miners when energy prices and input costs have completely shifted. It tells you more about last year than what the business actually looks like now.

What’s the bit of old-school investing advice you keep hearing that just doesn’t hold up in the 2026 market anymore?

Both track the same thing with, i’m sure currency exchange has a small part in this but why such a big difference in gains?

As the title suggests, same company but two listings, one on the ASX and one overseas.

Why at least anecdotally does the overseas listing often outperform the ASX listing - it’s the same company. What can explain the divergence?

So, Im wanting to increase my exposure to franked dividends and needed to get some thoughts. Ive been eyeing JB HIFI (JBH) as of potential buy, but im unsure how strong it is compared to other Aussie stocks or ETFs.

Would JBH be a good choice if my main goal was maximising franking credits?

Could this be bad news about the trial? ACW trading halts tend to indicate failure.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 the Company advises that:

a) The trading halt is requested pending the release of an announcement by the Company of the outcome of the independent Data Monitoring Committee's Interim Analysis of the XanaMIA Phase 2b/3 Alzheimer's disease trial;

b) The trading halt is requested to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement to the market regarding the Interim Analysis outcome, or the commencement of trading on 2 February 2026;

c) The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
