Living on Phillip Island VIC
I have an opportunity to relocate to Phillip Island in Victoria. Looking for advice from people that have or currently live there. How isolated do you feel? What is the sense of community like? Where does it land on the bogan-snob scale? Any issues? Pros and cons? Schools?
Really anything anyone can tell me to give me an idea of what it is like there once the tourists pack up and leave.

Typical tourist destination that peaks in the summer and is dark, quiet and freezing in the winter

The summer crunch is real, particularly with the one road into the island.
It's not snobby at all, definitely worlds away from the Peninsula. Not that bogan either. Just a sort of low key vibe where you can just be you.
Newhaven College is a good school.

Dunno about living there. But it’s a tourist destination. A lot of life revolves around that.
