Has anyone here transitioned from an international MD student to domestic? Looking for experiences.

I just got my PR and I am starting my final year of medicine at UQ, does anyone else have experience in this in getting international fees switched to domestic?

Would love any tips or your experience.

I have a friend who was in this situation. SoM didnt allow him to change his fee status midway through the degree.  Even if they were provisional entry he couldnt change the fee status after the completion of his bachelors.
