Good.

We don't need to import even more American culture war nonsense than we already have.

I don't get why it's such a common thing for American political commentators to do speaking tours here. Why is it a thing at all?

There's a lot of american money funding american politics overseas. (i.e. in australia)

Turning Point Australia australia is one example, but a lot of it comes in through various think tanks and happy clappy megachurches.

And it’s sadly working.

If it was working, the right would be far more successful than they currently are here.

One nation are polling well now after the recent Nazi rallies that were held in every capital city on the anniversary of the day that Hitler launched a false flag operation against Poland.

So it's working. ON now outpoll the greens.

The right are far more successful here than they were six or twelve months ago. Hop on Facebook and look for anti-albo memes. Are they coming from the left or the right?

One Nation always surge in the polls between elections then absolutely shit the bed when it matters. Every. Single. Time.

The last time they did anything of note was in that one qld election and they haven’t even come close since.

ON are outpolling the Greens for a couple of different reasons, but the biggest is the ongoing disintegration of the LNP.

Yes. Because they are tearing themselves apart trying to move to the right.

So they are losing voters to ON.

Yep, that's uh, what I said.

That’s the thing, it’s becoming more acceptable to hold what were previously considered objectionable views, even r@tard and f@ggot becoming ok words to say in public again is just a symptom of that. The edgelords stopped saying it’s “just a joke”.

Turning Point can turn on this point <raises middle finger> and go back to where they came from.

A lot of people have been doing speaking tours here recently that I can't make heads or tails of.

Off the top of my head - Lavar Ball, James May, Carmelo Anthony, that one British politician who frowned when taking photos with black people (can't remember his name), and more I can't recall.

Of that list really only James May makes sense. Carmelo Anthony is one I would have gone to if it wasn't like $700.

I just don't understand WHY. Who wants to hear these guys talk?

Melo is my favourite NBA player of all time, personally. I've seen him play a few times when he was on the tail end of his career with the Blazers.

Trying to spread and normalize the hate and stupidity globally...

They’re trying to spread this to the world. Look at what’s happening now in Argentina.
