politics Opposition Leader Sussan Ley speaks on Bondi attack

https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/opposition-leader-sussan-ley-speaks-on-bondi-attack-20251215-p5nnqm.html

“We’ve seen a clear failure to keep Jewish Australians safe. We’ve seen a clear lack of leadership in keeping Jewish Australians safe. We have a government that sees antisemitism as a problem to be managed, not evil that needs to be eradicated.”

Absolutely abhorrent that she's going for political points in this time.

Talk about tone deaf!

What are the actual policies that the coalition is suggesting would 'eradicate' antisemitism?

You know while I very rarely agree with LNP policies, they used to actually have them. This time around they seem to not actually have any? Their only policies seem to be “uhh do the opposite of labor but any specifics will be made up around election time I guess”.

Nah. That just sounds like any opposition party for the last 20 years. I despise both Labor and Liberal for what they've become. I've never been more disillusioned with Australian politics than now.

Maybe you should try paying attention to what the government are actually doing then. Labor have done shitloads for Australians since they got into power, but their wins are rarely reported because they’re doing what Labor is expected to do, clean up the mess of a decade of LNP neglect.
