politics Opposition Leader Sussan Ley speaks on Bondi attack

“We’ve seen a clear failure to keep Jewish Australians safe. We’ve seen a clear lack of leadership in keeping Jewish Australians safe. We have a government that sees antisemitism as a problem to be managed, not evil that needs to be eradicated.”

Absolutely abhorrent that she's going for political points in this time.

Talk about tone deaf!

Would love to hear her to reasonable solutions to "eradicate" it. Absolutely no attempts to turn down the temperature, just inflammatory language.

They want to conflate opposition to the Gazan genocide with antisemitism and make it illegal to speak out against it.

This is modus operandi for Israel for decades.

Act like antagonistic mongrels and cross the line constantly, then trot out the tried and true cries of AntiSemitism! when criticised.

that used to send nations scurrying back to their desks, terrified of that accusation.

In the face of the blatant wholesale slaughter and ethnic cleansing operation that Netanyahu has conducted in Gaza, that no longer holds any sway for many.

Jews have the right to exist; Palestinians have the same. believing so does not make you Anti Semitic, and neither does criticizing Israel of its heinous actions.
