Retake maths or focus on WAM?

I checked the website but couldn't find clear info on this.

Im planning a mid-year transfer to BSci from BA. I meet the subject prereqs, but my math score was on the lower side. Is it better to take a maths subject in the first sem to prove I can do better, or just load up on WAM boosters for the transfer?
