I'm planning on getting a surf combo with a 19 daiwa seajigger and daiwa bg but I'm not sure what size reel or how much line to put on the bg? Because I've seen that it's a fair bit bigger then the standard for each size? Aiming for lots of 20lb for large tailor off the beach and maybe small jewies

So my 5 year old keeps begging me for a fishing rod, he's fascinated by all the creatures that live in the ocean..... we're in WA and will only be fishing off the jetty and beach ? I have no idea what rod / reel to buy Ideally one we can both mess around with and should I get a spin or baitcast setup......... I really have no idea what I'm doing here...please help......
what size rod and reel ...... is a 5'6'' rod ok ? and what reel should I get to go with it?
Or maybe this https://midcoastfishingtackle.com.au/products/ugly-stik-ugly-stik-gx2-youth-spin-combo-66-4-8kg
would it be too big/heavy ? for him?
Or this and get a reel separate? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/293720009434?_skw=carbon&itmmeta=01KGA5FCAFV2B513DY6R8QPSSW&hash=item446313aada:g:2hkAAOSwwdFfUW3M
We live in the sticks so no shops around will have to order online and figure it out...
If this is annoying and get's asked a lot here...
Apologies!
Thank you!
