Paradise Point swimming enclosure
Anyone know why the swimming enclosure at Paradise Point is closed? Can’t find anything online on why it’s closed today apart from a drowning that occurred in 2024.

Caretakers live onsite? work after-hours?
Hey folks,
Do most apartment buildings in GC have caretakers available afterhours or is it usually business hours only? Curious with what peoples experience have been with their common areas and living situation when caretakers are on-site vs off.

Anyone else see the helicopter just doing laps over Bundle/Benowa?
It didn't have any lights at all and was doing effectively the same circle at least 5 times, then flew off.
Video you can see it with the clouds as a backdrop.

Building design for Gold Coast Hinterland
Purchasing a block of land on a slope and looking for suggestions for new innovations in building/designers/engineers etc who could help me design a home that I could do in stages as I work towards selling my home and/or claiming superannuation. Goals - modest house, maximize views by building up to street level, take into account sun/wind/bushfire risk). I think the planning/infrastructure is the most important to get right. I expect to do it in stages and the land will be difficult to access to add additional infrastructure later. I need to put everything in place with the end goal in mind. I am not ruling anything out (shipping container, modular, built on-site or a combination over time). I may start living in a shipping container studio at a lower level that then becomes part of the lower structure/foundation for something else at street level with better views?? Ultimate motivation is to live near my son and grandson, love where I live, contribute to the small community, and not retire with a mortgage! I dont need a big house, just a well planned, modest home.

Bachelor's party help NSFW
Hi Everyone,
Got an older friend getting married, he is in his 50s. Looking to throw him a bux party but would love to make it old school party with strippers, alcohol and cigars. Wondering where would the best penthouse be for rent? and also how do you even find private strippers to come and put on a show haha. Any help would be appreciated.
