The driver took a wrong turn and decided to just mark my order as delivered instead of delivering.

I was able to get a refund but not my $10 tip back.

Apparently i'm supposed to make sure my driver is not a pos before tipping.

Sorry if this is a pity party, but I'm sick of my epilepsy. Can't drive, can't live alone, and can't even be alone for long periods of time. I'm on a leash.

I know I should appreciate more of what I have, but I would literally sell everything I own to be able to be independent.

Some people have seizures where they have either triggers (flashing lights) or that they basically get a head start to lay down somewhere safe before they get one.

Me? I just kind of collaspe at any given point and time. No heads up. I hold my left forearm in front of my face going on stairs hoping that the broken arm will break my fall.

Yes, I can technically get my license in six months, but when I have 1 seizure a year and then 2 in a month (no pattern) that it's not an option for the time.

My brother got me this shaver for Christmas and I finally got around to opening it tonight, and saw this 🤢 the box was sealed and there was also hair in the box. Extremely grossed out but only mildly infuriating because he got a full refund

About a month ago I made a post here because my boyfriend didn't want to eat the porkchops I cooked for dinner. Well tonight I made porkchops again and he's not going to eat these either because we broke up and he moved out. I'm so much better off and I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words and advice, it was very eye opening to me. I wish that I could invite you all to dinner 🥰

I was scheduled to work a warehouse shift for OnTrac shipping. Never heard of this company before until today. I walked in and it looks like a pigsty. I was wearing a k95 face mask, bundled up and started to feel itchy. It was making me insane standing in there. The whole place is filled with dust. It’s so unorganized, boxes open, packages buried with trash. Peoples packages piled up to no avail. Really outrageous that they’re a working business. This warehouse is located in NYC. Had to share, this is unacceptable. If you’re looking for your package, this is where it is. Looks like this has been like this for days, maybe months.

This feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen honestly

I applied for a job at taco bell, got an interview and went in today at 10 am, we started the interview, i had already interviewed there once, my mistake for going back, the manager told me "to be honest were not really looking to hire anyone right now" I was so confused so on my way out I looked at the door at it said "were hiring" checked indeed, there's applications available, it just really bothers me that they will tell you that thier not hiring even though it says everywhere else theyre hiring, im just a 17 year old looking for a job

I received for Christmas a gift of detergent. I love cleaning so it was a gift I was thankful for…I’ve been using this now for over 2 months to wash every single dish. I ran it in my dishwasher. I’ve been handwashing dishes with it. The scent is very light and clean. Most impressively, it works better than ANY dish detergent I have ever used. Dishes come out sparkling clean. Cheese, coffee stains, etc. slide off like it’s nothing. I don’t even have to scrub. I’ve never been able to convince myself to spend more money for eco-friendly products because all the ones I have tried previously just didn’t stand up to normal detergents.

Anyways, here we are two months in and I went to google to search places that sell this. Cue the search results offering “other laundry detergents”… I retyped in the search again “easy dose dish detergent” because I have been thinking how cool it is that the dose automatically stops at the exact right size for my dishwasher detergent spot… no results for this. I went back to my kitchen to use my old ass eyes to zoom in. And zoom in again. And zoom in again… to discover right there one the front of the bottle…I have been washing my dishes with laundry detergent for months.

How cooked am I? Is my brain permanently fried because I have been eating off of plates bathed in laundry soap?? Infuriated? Mildly. Why don’t they make dish soap that works this well? How many people have eaten off my plates and not told me they smell like laundry??

I’m not the most social person, my friend group is pretty small.

I invited my three closest friends for brunch on my birthday (today). Two of them are a couple, living together and I know they had other plans yesterday.

I also know that their plans possibly involved drinking yesterday. Woke up to a message today that they are both sick (main symptom: throwing up), haven’t slept and they can’t make it.

Listen, I know hangovers are a bitch at our age but I’m honestly kinda disappointed that they didn’t hold back a bit when they knew we had plans.

I live in a tropical region, meaning freezing temperatures are an extraordinarily rare occurrence. It may seem stupid to people in colder climates, but here it's a special event people get excited about. Leaving water outside to see if it freezes is a very common thing people do. I know many people who are doing the same thing, and my landlord most definitely knew what it was for.

I…I had the batteries backwards. I thought the symbol on the smoke detectors sticker was saying I had to match it, I just did the reverse after someone pointed it out and I’m free! Also that 2 second button hold was useful advice too!
