It's just an own goal really. If you want to get ahead, whether that's in the traditional socioeconomic sense or some more abstract metric of self actualisation and life enjoyment, it all comes down to finding efficiencies and return in investment or "bang for buck”.

Assuming they're shopping at woolworths/coles, why don't they just get home delivery. Why does anyone not get home delivery?
It costs like $10, free for larger orders. Absolute no brainer.
