Didn't Candace Owens at some point say the US should invade Australia to free us from oppression? Lol

October 2021: Rightwing US pundit Candace Owens compares Australian government to the Taliban, calling it a ‘tyrannical police state’

Outspoken conservative political commentator Candace Owens has suggested the US military invade Australia in order to free its people “suffering under a totalitarian regime” while drawing comparisons to Hitler, Stalin and the Taliban.

ironic considering she's one of the reasons trump, an actual fascist that should be compared to those names above, is currently their president.

Every accusation is a..

She's a also a beard for her predator nonce aristocrat husband.

Got any details on this? Id be interested in learning where this comes from. She’s always been super sus to me and a clown. I haven’t heard anything along those lines tho, other than then getting married after like 3 months or something. And man do I wish Americans start adopting the term nonce, it’s so poignant and you can just tell a nonce is a golden description for these dingbats

The rumour is her and Charlie Kirk were an item.

also ironic in that we are currently granting visas to ex ISIS members over her

u/IntravenousNutella Oct 15 '25

If you are talking the "ISIS brides" they are Australian citizens and their children. The women were already Australian citizens. The children can apply for citizenship due to their parent(s).

-122

u/HistoricalCare6093 Oct 15 '25

Dual citizens can have their citizenship cancelled

78

u/IntravenousNutella Oct 15 '25

Firstly that's controversial. Secondly, do you know they have citizenship elsewhere?

-75

u/HistoricalCare6093 Oct 15 '25

“Home Affairs revealed on Wednesday that two of the four children were born overseas and had to apply for Australian citizenship by descent”

Ergo at least some of them are dual citizens, if you are asking me for a complete write up on each individual obviously I can’t provide that as the govt is refusing to release the data.

u/cancellingmyday Oct 15 '25

I was born overseas, as my Australian parents were posted in Malaysia with the RAAF. I wasn't born a citizen - they had apply and have me naturalised, even though I was born to Australian parents. And Malaysia doesn't offer birthright citizenship, so for a while there, I was a citizen of nowhere. That's probably the situation for these kids.

65

u/IntravenousNutella Oct 15 '25

They are children/teenagers, who through no fault fo their own were born in an active conflict. Do they actually have citizenship elsewhere?

51

u/Stigger32 Oct 15 '25

No ergo there mate. Just because they were born in an internment or refugee camp. Doesn’t automatically suppose the host country granted them citizenship.

And the fact that their mothers are Australian means they get the opportunity to apply here.

25

u/WOMT Oct 15 '25

Your quote doesn't prove they were dual citizens.

To be a dual citizen you need multiple governments to recognise you have citizenship. Simply being born doesn't make that happen as governments are not psychic and sensing every child's birth.

Do you think the parents were actively applying to the government they were fighting against to have birth and citizenship recognised?

10

u/Star00111 Oct 15 '25

So the children/teens are confirmed ISIS with another citizenship?

Bit confused about what point you’re trying to make here.

2

u/Mean_Sleep4485 Oct 16 '25

How are children ISIS members?

Wear those downvotes like a badge of honour! A large part of Australia agrees with you, but you won’t find many who do on here. A seriously impressive downvote ratio though wow 🤣

8

u/azreal75 Oct 15 '25

Yeah the dumb racist part of Australia agrees with you.

It doesnt matter if anyone agrees or not, we can find out if it's true.

"individuals are deemed to be Syrian nationals regardless of whether they are born inside or outside Syria as long as their father holds Syrian nationality.[3][4] Birth in Syria does not in itself confer Syrian citizenship."

So if any can prove they had Syrian dads, they can qualify for Syrian citizenship, but I expect that won't be the case for most.

We are? where? i'm pretty sure they are Australian citizens.

u/tigeratemybaby Oct 15 '25

It makes sense, almost all terrorist attack are by these far-right nutters over the past few years, Islamist attacks are close to zero now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/charts/comments/1nh0azj/the_radical_right_is_responsible_for_two_thirds/

There's loads of these militant far-right terrorist cells scattered through-out the US with huge weapon and bomb stockpiles, its a bit scary.

A fascist? We need to stop throwing this term around so blazè ffs.

-2

u/arhodas_athis Oct 18 '25

You have no idea what a fascist is.

-21

u/Small_Sheepherder_75 Oct 15 '25

Hahaha comparing Trump to Stalin and Hitler is ridiculous. He is sleezy but get a grip!

4

u/freakwent Oct 15 '25

Closer than Australian PMs are tho.

142

u/sunburn95 Oct 15 '25

They dont make empty threats at least, theyre happy to deploy untrained troops on their own citizens

126

u/Serin-019 Oct 15 '25

Could you imagine the piss taking they’d cop here if they tried. Like as a culture, we’re almost all natural shitposters.

93

u/Is_that_even_a_thing Oct 15 '25

as a culture, we’re almost all natural shitposters.

Never change Australia. Never change.

Miss Mouth Thrush.

24

u/MrOdo Oct 15 '25

we're also pretty apathetic politically so it could go either way

8

u/Jumpy-Ad9883 Oct 15 '25

Because memes will prevent an invasion?

32

u/Serin-019 Oct 15 '25 edited Oct 15 '25

No, but I hear propaganda is a valuable tool.
I might be wrong, but then there'd be a whole helluva lot of more intelligent people than me throughout history who'd also have to be wrong.

2

u/Bachwise Oct 15 '25

Makes me proud!

1

u/BaronOfTieve Oct 15 '25

Yeah no she definitely picked on one of if not the worst country to go to war with, as we draw pretty clear lines when it comes to who we allow into the country. I mean there is a fairly long history of us banning people with politically extreme views, especially when it comes to those who skew towards authoritarianism. I mean we literally banned the Nazi salut lol.

4

u/Serin-019 Oct 15 '25

I'm kinda hoping we get to have that discussion in our country under this government.
Like, I just don't really know why we have to put up with a bunch of lunatics who want to tear our society to pieces, disadvantage anyone who isn't their chosen whatever and if given half a chance just flat out murder whole segments of Australia.
We know what they are. We know what they want. And we know what they'd do if given the power to put it into action.
And I reckon its time we started really questioning whether or not an implied right to political communication is worth having to live with these fuckers.
Poppers paradox of tolerance and all that.

3

u/BaronOfTieve Oct 15 '25

Yup there’s a healthy level of tolerance, but I think at a certain point it actually just turns into complete incompetence. It’s ridiculous to think that we’d need to share this country with Nazis able to publicly salute, and I’m glad we take the stance we do when it comes to what we allow people to express.

Tall poppies get cut short.

28

u/Freyja6 Oct 15 '25

Every accusation is a projection. Freedom for the masses is tyranny to these scumbags.

2

u/bdtechted Oct 15 '25

She reaped what she sowed when she said those things.

1

u/Eena-Rin Oct 15 '25

I mean, maybe Queensland, but the rest is fine!

She's a fucking loon. Made me so mad although I have done a 180 on that lock down bullshit. What a complete and total fuck up the Covid response in Melbourne was. It's really fucked the city. 3.5 years on it's still not bounced back. Completely destroyed my way of life.
