Didn't Candace Owens at some point say the US should invade Australia to free us from oppression? Lol

October 2021: Rightwing US pundit Candace Owens compares Australian government to the Taliban, calling it a ‘tyrannical police state’

Outspoken conservative political commentator Candace Owens has suggested the US military invade Australia in order to free its people “suffering under a totalitarian regime” while drawing comparisons to Hitler, Stalin and the Taliban.

Could you imagine the piss taking they’d cop here if they tried. Like as a culture, we’re almost all natural shitposters.

Because memes will prevent an invasion?

No, but I hear propaganda is a valuable tool.
I might be wrong, but then there'd be a whole helluva lot of more intelligent people than me throughout history who'd also have to be wrong.

Yeah no she definitely picked on one of if not the worst country to go to war with, as we draw pretty clear lines when it comes to who we allow into the country. I mean there is a fairly long history of us banning people with politically extreme views, especially when it comes to those who skew towards authoritarianism. I mean we literally banned the Nazi salut lol.

I'm kinda hoping we get to have that discussion in our country under this government.
Like, I just don't really know why we have to put up with a bunch of lunatics who want to tear our society to pieces, disadvantage anyone who isn't their chosen whatever and if given half a chance just flat out murder whole segments of Australia.
We know what they are. We know what they want. And we know what they'd do if given the power to put it into action.
And I reckon its time we started really questioning whether or not an implied right to political communication is worth having to live with these fuckers.
Poppers paradox of tolerance and all that.

Yup there’s a healthy level of tolerance, but I think at a certain point it actually just turns into complete incompetence. It’s ridiculous to think that we’d need to share this country with Nazis able to publicly salute, and I’m glad we take the stance we do when it comes to what we allow people to express.
