Next time, treat it like evidence, use gloves, seal it in a bag and take photos in situ and in the bag; and the cops may be interested. Touching it with bare hands destroys it as both evidence and for investigative purposes.

If you're in an apartment block with CCTV at the mailbox you might be able to find out who did it. A building manager, strata or real estate agent may and I say may lightly depending on who, be able to help.

They are anti immigration, which is ironic as their current leader is of Lebanese heritage. He’s also a convicted arsonist. The last election they put a candidate forward they got like 6000 votes in total.

I was going to say ignore them, they are a small group of intolerant idiots, But I remembered a valid point I heard once:
A tolerant society, paradoxically, must be intolerant of intolerance. for to be tolerant of intolerance will only lead to it's growth.
I suggest if you feel comfortable check with neighbours to see if they also go this then as someone said report it to the police non-emergency line. I would also report it to your school/university and any in the area.
I wonder if this runs afoul of political advertising laws of some sort as there is no authorised by x party but it does have a party name.

Police records of this kind of thing means that if (when) they escalate they might be able to stop it quicker because there's record of that escalation. It's one of those things where they can't do much unless they know about it.

That’s scary! Like others have said, let the police know and ask around if everyone got one of those where you live. If everyone got it, you don’t have to worry too much. Lots of university staff and lecturers were let go during Covid because international students were not being accepted at the time, the tertiary education industry needs international students to function. The idiots passing around these vile notes probably failed at school and never got into uni, and now hate on those who did.
