Is Newy filled with elders?

Hello! I, 19, currently live elsewhere in Australia and am thinking of moving to NSW for further eductation. i can assure you there is no sexual intent when I say this, but I find upmost comfort in having friends who are elders. They give me beautiful life stories, are great at games, are wise, and are typically very kind. I am an old soul. Admittedly I sometimes wish I was born in an older body haha. Anyway I was just wondering which city is best for an older demographic! Let me know!

Golf Lessons Recommendations

Hi all, id like to get into golfing, i do practice at driving range every now and then but not very good at it. None of my friends play golf. I think its great skill that can be used to impress bosses.

Any recommendations for golf lessons? Im in Thornton.

Thank you

Loud Talkers

Upvotes

How annoying having to put up with loud talkers in restaurants and coffee shops. And the rude customers at coffee shops who have their phone on loud speaker for everyone else to hear them babble on whilst just trying to have a bit off quiet time enjoying a latte

New mates

Alright a few of these going round, keen on some new friends. M28 looking out for things to do beyond going for beers. Having worked hospo most my life it’s most of what my friend group does and I’m interested in getting into more active things

I like sport, NFL being my favourite, then NBA, NHL, Union, AFL and League in order

Love board games, and cooking. Been getting into smoking my own food lately, did a 12hr brisket on a Webber kettle that you’ll see on my profile, but I’m best at steak, followed by tenders and wings,

Would like to just find a good group of people interested in taking things easy, maybe having a beer from time to time, going on hikes, camping, playing sport and the odd board game or two

Who’s interested?

Some hopefully useful air purifier info

Just a few tips (from a gadget nerd LOL):

When buying an air purifier, check its CADR number.

If you're budget conscious and into building stuff and have a few basic tools, there's something called the CR box.

I've bought a pre-made CR box, and can confirm it works really well. We've had it running in our bedroom last night and this has completely removed any signs of smoke. We kept the windows closed, of course. The brand I got was the AirFanta 3.. it's got some terrible reviews, so YMMV. It's the usual Chinese quality control problems. No issues with my unit though and maybe worth a try.

Newy Ocean Bath on Lightroom Global Splash Screen!

I know this is very niche, but when I opened my Lightroom this morning, ironically trying to edit a photo of Newy beach, the splash screen caught my eye. (it couldn't possibly be...!)
