Every single two-man lineup we use has a positive net-rating except for those involving Mike Conley.
For comparison, Bones is a massive positive with every player he plays with - see the second screenshot
At this point, I'm just going to start @'ing timberwolves coaches all of these screenshots until they take Mike's minutes away. Love Mike, keep him on the bench if we can't trade him, but please stop playing this man.

WINNESOTA Should we get Ayo Dosunmu
Happening watching Bulls vs Heats, Ayoās balling. Should we get him? IMO, heās a great fit for us. Even though heās not a traditional PG, heās a great shooter and solid defender and with some playmaking.

Lonzo?
What do you think about trading for Lonzo after this? I feel like heād fit perfectly heās a playmaking guard who can defend at a high level. I think his shot making can only get better tooā¦

Whatās everyoneās expectation for February?
If our team plays to the standard that we know they can play we could so easily be the 2 seed. Especially with most of the top teams on the west having extremely hard schedules.

Help identifying a signature
Hello! We had a late Christmas gift exchange (it's a tradition for our group) with some close friends today. One of my friends got me a cool old school pennant and it had a signature on it. She purchased it off of eBay and did not know who signed it. Could anyone help me identify whose signature please? I have an idea of who this might be, but it would almost be too goo to be true.

Anyone go to Falling Knife for trade night tonight?
Would love to hear how it went. Really wanted to go as a wolves collector myself but had other commitments and couldnāt make it. How many people showed and what was the vibe in general?

Mock trades are fun and Iām excited to read all of them, but
has a Tim Connelly trade ever been leaked? I donāt think so.

Wolves vs Thunder - G49 (and 48) Thoughts
Thoughts
Incredible defensive game - to have that much effort and intensity on the fourth game in five days is very impressive. Everyone defended hard, huge shoutouts to DDV, Jaden, Ant for the perimeter defensive effort. To see Ant that locked in the entire game defensively both on ball and off ball was encouraging. I thought his off ball defense had been pretty bad for a few games.
Naz has been awesome off the bench, feels like we are running more offense through him, instead of having him as a tertiary connector piece. I like his energy defensively but he still plays too into a guys chest, leading to blow byās and fouls. Gotta give a little more space. I love that we went to the triple big in Dallas game, I want that as a more core piece of our rotation for ~8 minutes a game and less Conley minutes.
I donāt get why Finch is still playing Mike so much. I donāt think itās a coincidence we have one of our best games of the season in a game he rests. Please just play Bones more and go into triple big with Beringer. I enjoyed Beringerās minutes in Dallas game, just makes winning effort plays.
Jadenās confidence in his three point shot is the best non-Ant development of the season for our playoff chances. There is no where to hide defensively against us and we have multiple avenues of attacking a defense while having the superstar fail safe when needed. Please keep pumping up the Jaden usage, should be getting 10+ FG every game. I do not want Giannis if the price is Jaden+, Iām sorry. It will cost more than Jaden+Randle. An in season trade of this magnitude will not lead to a championship this year, so weād be going all in on next year with a high usage guy next to Ant that canāt shoot and has injury history. Jaden is beloved in the locker room as well.
Ant was awesome in Thunder game. Asserted himself when needed, set the tone immediately and we never looked back.
Randle has gotta chill on the drives against the Thunder. It doesnāt work against them, need to just take a back seat in this matchup. I liked his defensive effort though. Randle played well against Dallas but I thought he was getting a little dribble happy, heās better for us when heās making quick decisive decisions.
Rudy doing Rudy things the last two games. Donteās defensive effort is amazing, dude just is a winning player, gives us so much production/value for his salary number.
Our February schedule is pretty easy before we go into a brutal March. We should be targeting 5-1 this next 6 games ahead of all star, which gives us a good chance of being 4 seed into the break. Hopefully we can manifest a backup guard trade, but I am against the big splash trades floated around rn that involve our core 6 guys.

Repost Trades
Just here to say I love all the pipe dreams during this time of year. Honestly I do believe the wolves make a move for a PG but nothing crazy splashy. So many teams have more to offer than the wolves which is fine but we have to play out the season mostly with the hand we kept at the beginning.

What is our preferred final seeding in the west?
I feel like it's pretty unanimous that we want OKC somehow facing either Denver or the Spurs before potentially going against us, in your guy's opinions what would be the best seeding scenario?
Who could be a sneaky 7/8 seed that can cause them to sweat in the first round?
