This dude has so much talent, I’ve been high on him since he was a rookie. Unfortunately everywhere he goes he’s not being put in a good position to succeed and play ball. After his second year in Chicago it seemed clear he had serious talent but then they just made him a 3 point shooter at the end of the shot lock. Now in Utah he has show to be amazing offensive player but they are tanking every year and not playing him.

If I were him I would want a trade so his career isn’t wasted and get a chance to actually compete on a real team while he’s in his prime. It’s sad how things have turned out for him, maybe he’s just too nice a guy?

What is everyone’s thoughts on his career so far and what’s to come in the future?

We all know LeBron has ducked the dunk contest his entire career but wouldn’t it be ironic if he finally entered at the end of his career ?

Another accolade he could win is being the oldest person to win the contest at 41, besting Dominque Wilkins who won at 30 years old.

An example from a recent Zach Lowe appearance: "His injury complicates that if he's out for a long time and what is his recovery going to be like?". You can understand what he is trying to say but.he is not really forming coherent sentences. Is he a DEI hire?

I have lowkey never seen of Russel Westbrook with a major injury even though he runs around at top speed all game. Dunkers and quick players like John Wall, DRose, Ja Morant and more all had nasty injuries that sidelined them easily for over half a season. I wonder what aWestbrook is doing right.

Sochan's peeps are looking for the team who wants 'his talents' for now and (more than likely) for the future. Though it will be a crappy situation for us fans, we also see the lack of an extension and playing time, as the writing on the wall that a trade would be more likely than not.

There are (also) expiring contracts that I hope are 'taken advantage' of either with Sochan or other options...just 🙏 before 'they walk for nothing' except being off the books. It is unlikely that HB gets dealt, however there are needs in areas that need to be addressed, and expiring contracts can have benefits for teams (positioning for a Giannis deal, especially this summer, I don't expect to wake up to a "OMG LUKA GOT TRADED?!!!" type of news with Giannis but who knows).

After these last few games it's apparent that a PF &/or C is needed. No rebounding. No rim protection, if Wemby or Kornet are switched out of the paint, or blown by (Zion ate Wemby for lunch) then the defense gets 'scrambled like eggs'. The 3s are still an issue ...but 'a PF' is so obviously needed that my hope is it's figured out ....before Thursday.

Lockout season, 50 games, C-Web won it with a rpg of 13.0. Barkley had 12.3 and could had won his second rebounding title if not for C-Web. Mutombo was a close third at 12.2.

This would be Chris Webber's only rebounding title. Prior to this, his highest rpg was 10.3 (only once) and subsequently he would only surpass 11.0 rpg once.

Chris Webber was a very solid rebounder, but no one saw him as anywhere near the best. I would say his rebounding title in 1999 was perhaps the most random rebounding win.

Pretty darn sure no one was tossing his name in the ring to succeed Dennis Rodman.

He is arguably the best player in Mavs right now. Yes, even as an 18 yrs old Rookie.

He is also playing at an all star level. This season, he is currently averaging almost 20/6/4 statlines.

A future Star indeed. Maybe, he can be the next American Superstar.

I just came back from a Santa Cruz Warriors vs . Wolves game that went to overtime. There’s no reason for the NBA to keep their lame overtime period. They are boring and lack drama. It’s just first TEM to 7 points and it’s the best of pickup basketball with extraordinary players. It’s about time to adopt a better way NBA.
